On April 4, 2006, the freshmen class participated in the RI Immunization Adolescent “Catch-up” Program. Our school nurse, Anne-Marie Kachanis, coordinated with the Department of Health to ensure that Davies participation in this vaccination program.

Information on meningococcal disease was presented and parents were given the option of having students immunized right here at Davies. The Menactra vaccine was given to all freshmen that returned a signed consent form to the school nurse.
