• February is CTE Month and Feb 7-11th is SkillsUSA Week!

    • All week-long advisories will be collecting food for Davies' Pantriot (food pantry) to GIVE BACK to our Davies community. The advisory that collects the most will win cookies courtesy of Hospitality Careers.
    • Technical teachers have been asked to share "Why they love teaching CTE" for a RECOGNITION series for all their hard work preparing Davies' students as productive participants in RI's workforce.

At Davies, every student is a SkillsUSA member. Those interested in competing should discuss it with their technical teachers. SkillsUSA advisors are Chef Lingwall and Chef Hernandez.

  • SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. Davies students, who gain SkillsUSA membership upon enrolling at Davies, have demonstrated their technical skills and knowledge by winning twenty-five national medals at the SkillsUSA National Championships held in Louisville, Kentucky. Our students have consistently ranked as one of the top groups of student performers in the New England Region.
