Davies Admissions Process
Davies is located in Lincoln, Rhode Island, and serves approximately 850 students from across the state of Rhode Island. As a four year comprehensive and career school, we offer both academic and career-focused studies.
How to Apply (for School Year 2022-2023)
Picture yourself at Davies. "Future Student Night" is held Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 6-8pm. This IN-PERSON event allows parents and 8th-grade students the opportunity to learn more about our classrooms and career programs, and meet faculty, administration, and future students. Parents and students may tour each of our nine career areas ("shops"), or focus only on those of most interest. (Facebook Event Page: https://fb.me/e/1rLzI4ivX)
Take an entrance exam. Davies requires students to successfully pass entrance exams in reading and math (the Stanford 10 Diagnostic Test). Exams will be offered at Davies on only four Saturdays in November, December, and January. Those dates are November 13, 20, or December 4, 2021 or January 8, 2022. You can register for the entrance exams at Future Student Night or after via our website until all spaces are full.
You will be notified of your provisional acceptance to Davies by a formal letter.
Send us your Provisional Acceptance Agreement. After sitting for the entrance exam, and being provisionally accepted to Davies, fill out the Provisional Acceptance Agreement included with your acceptance letter.
Applicants must be Rhode Island residents. Students who did not sit for the Stanford 10 Diagnostic Test will not be considered. (Davies is a public school and there is no tuition to attend upon acceptance. Busing is provided for Barrington, Bristol, Central Falls, Cranston, East Providence, Johnston, Lincoln, North Providence, Pawtucket, Providence, Smithfield, and Warren only. All other residents must provide their own transportation. We apologize for the inconvenience.)
