Our 11th and 12th-grade Automotive Careers students, led by Mr. Guerra and Mr. DeCarvalho, had an incredible hands-on experience during their two-day field trip to Boston Motorsports on November 6th and 7th!
Boston Motorsports is an official Alfa Romeo and Maserati dealership that also specializes in repairing high-end exotic cars and SUVs. Our students got a close-up look at automotive engineering excellence, checking out vehicles like the Maybach, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Audi, Porsche, Corvette, and Cadillac.
Students didn't just look—they learned!
This trip provided valuable, direct insight into the world of exotic car repair:- Hands-On Learning: Students helped remove wheels on a Lamborghini Aventador to study its complex suspension system.
- Real-World Prep: They assisted in removing underbody panels on an Audi R8 to prepare it for service.
- Specialized Tools: They learned how to remove and install tires using a highly specialized tire machine designed specifically for supercar wheels.
- Career Inspiration: They gained crucial knowledge on the stepping stones needed to enter the world of high-end repair.
- The Thrill of the Ride: The highlight for many was the chance to sit inside, start up, and rev the engines of these incredible machines!
