  • School’s Back in Session with FREE Meals for All In School and Remote Learning Students!

    The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced that schools may extend the free meals program that our district participated in from March until June. This announcement means that all students under the age of 18 will receive FREE meals regardless of eligibility status beginning Monday, September 14. This includes meals for students who pick up at in our optional remote learning model or are eating in school. Per the USDA, this program will be available through December 31, 2020, or until allocated Federal funding is depleted, whichever is sooner. We will continue to keep families updated if this occurs before December 31st, 2020.

A New York Times Bestseller "Dear Martin" by Nic Stone is “A powerful, wrenching, and compulsively readable story that lays bare the history, and the present, of racism in America.” The first 25 Davies students and/or parents to respond will get a free book.

  • Summer Care for Your Chromebook

    Do not let the Chromebook battery fully discharge over the summer. Even when a Chromebook is off, its battery continues to slowly lose charge. If left long enough, the batteries might no longer function and can’t be recharged. At the same time, you shouldn’t keep Chromebooks plugged into a charger while in storage for months. This can reduce battery life and lead to other issues.
