    No olviden. Davies estara ofreciendo un programa gratuito en español llamado MegaSkills. MegaSkills en Español son aquellas habilidades, conductas y actitudes que apoyan la motivación de sus hijos, logros en la clase y su futuro. Habrá una orientación para contestar sus preguntas sobre el programa el martes, 24 de Septiembre a las 6:30 pm. Por favor de confirmar su asistencia antes del 21 de Septiembre llamando a la Señora Morrobel al 728-1500 extensión 304. Las clases comenzaran el Martes, 1 de octubre hasta el 29 de octubre de 6:00 pm hasta 7:30 pm en la escuela Davies. Esperamos que considere participar en un programa tan importante y educativo.

  • Flag Friday: Showcasing the diversity of Davies

    William M. Davies, Jr. Career and Technical High School will begin to reflect the diversity of its students and staff through the display of flags in front of the school. Davies is a state-owned and operated career and technical high school. There is always an American flag and Rhode Island state flag outside the front entrance. The third flag pole was typically utilized for the flag of Davies but will now showcase a different countries flag.

Davies, Jr. Career & Technical High School (Davies) offers career and technical education programs in Automotive Careers, Biotechnology, Cosmetology, Electrical & Renewable Energy, Graphics Arts & Interactive Media, Health Careers, Hospitality Careers, Machine Technology, and Pre-Engineering & Robotics. Admission to these programs is based on prospective student performance on the Stanford 10 Diagnostic Assessment, attainment of passing grades in all core academic classes in the 8th grade, and promotion to the 9th grade in the prospective student’s resident district.     Students are encouraged to apply for CIEE's Summer 2020 programs. Last year, Class of 2022 Bethany Alves received a scholarship to travel and study in Barcelona.

  • Davies participated in LinkedIn Learning series on Manufacturing

    LinkedIn Learning, formerly Lynda.com wanted to create a series of free educational videos which helped promote manufacturing careers. They came in to film this past March and now the videos are available for all to watch for free.

  • Davies inaugural members of National Honor Society

    2019 is the first year Davies has participated in National Honor Society. Students who join Davies National Honor Society have a 3.75 GPA or higher, show leadership qualities, integrity, and are required to serve 20 service hours helping with different projects and Davies students far exceed those hours. Our chapter is proud to induct our very first class of new members.

  • Kristin Cassarino named Davies District Teacher of the Year

    On June 3, English/Social Studies teacher Kristin Cassarino received recognition when she was celebrated as the District Teacher of the Year. Arms filled with balloons and flowers, Director Adam Flynn-Tabloff surprised her during her seventh-period class.
