  • COVID Update for Families from Director Watkins

Dear Davies Parents and Guardians, As we enter the holiday season and winter months, we are seeing an uptick in the number of COVID cases and subsequent quarantines at Davies, just as are other schools across the state. Please assist us by setting a clear expectation for your child that masks are to be worn at all times (except while eating) in the school environment- including on the bus and in the building both before and after school. It is important that students wear their masks correctly, covering both the nose and mouth. We appreciate your support in providing your child with a mask to wear in school, as well as an extra mask to have on hand in case their mask breaks.

  • Message from New Director Watkins

Dear Parents and Guardians, I’m thrilled to formally introduce myself to you as the new Director here at Davies Career and Tech. Today was my first official day on the job, and I’ve been so impressed by the warm welcome I’ve received, especially from the students, many of whom walked right up to say “hello” this morning. I want to reiterate that I’m honored to be entrusted with the care of the Davies community of learners. My goal is to build upon the partnerships that exist among parents, guardians, faculty and staff in order to best support students and their learning. To those ends, you are invited to attend in-person teacher conferences with academic staff (www.daviestech.org/ptc), and a workshop tomorrow, November 30th, 2021. Please remember that students will be dismissed at 11:15am.
