Davies students will be returning to in-person learning fully this fall. We want every student to be able to experience the full academic and social benefits of in-person learning while we provide a safe and responsible environment. Davies is encouraging all of our students to get vaccinated before the start of school this year.
Data suggest that the COVID-19 vaccines that we have for use in the United States offer protection against most COVID-19 variants, including the Delta variant. People receiving their first dose before July 28 will be fully vaccinated by September 1.
Rhode Island has done a lot to make sure that vaccines are available to everyone. Vaccines are completely free of charge, regardless of insurance status. Many vaccination sites no longer even require an appointment, although some do. To find more information about your local vaccination options, you can visit C19VaccineRI.org or call 844-930-1779 for assistance Monday – Friday from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. and Saturday to Sunday from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Multilingual support is available so that every family has the chance to get a vaccine.
