Davies students place second in Hospitality Management and Culinary at RI ProStart Competition
Each year, the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation sponsors a ProStart competition in each state. The Rhode Island ProStart competition was held on February 27th with several career and technical high school hospitality programs competing including Davies.
Davies' Hospitality Career program students practiced and prepared alongside Chef Santos Nieves and Chef Sara Lingwall for months prior to the competition. This year Davies is proud to announce that our two teams placed 2nd in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management.
