2020 SkillsUSA Awards and Recognition

William M. Davies, Jr. Career and Technical High School would like to congratulate all the students who competed in SkillsUSA this year.  SkillsUSA is a national organization that promotes leadership, teamwork, character development, and community service as well as preparing America’s high performing, technical workforce.

The 2020 SkillsUSA state competition, with a thousand RI students expected to participate, was unfortunately canceled due to COVID-19. Davies had over 100 students heading to the state competition after holding in-house competitions.

SkillsUSA released an Awards and Recognition Book to celebrate those students who were able to complete their competition before the closures and recognizing those who were unable to compete. The book is available for viewing here: 2020 SkillsUSA Rhode Island Awards and Recognition Book
