    Manufacturing Machine Operator

    Manufacturing Machine Operator

    POSITION SUMMARY: Operate machines and material handling in and around the extruders in order to maintain the efficient operation of the machine. Includes but is not limited to the tasks of loading and unloading the machine with all raw materials and fabrics, mixing of any chemical formulations if required and recording of information as required. Required to inspect the fabric and ensure good quality product is being processed. Other duties may include processing of regrind material including the grinding and handling of finished product to the packaging area. May require movement of goods with motorized equipment. Ensure quality and performance requirements are optimized and are consistent with specified requirements.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES:  Perform all duties in a SAFE manner.  Inspecting product and recording any quality defects.  Printing labels from Inventory Control System to identify finished rolls.  Selecting and loading raw material into the extruder.  Working closely with QA to ensure quality control.  Recording all related documentation into Inventory Control System.  Operating all related extrusion equipment.  Maintaining a clean and orderly work area to prevent injuries.  Adhere to all practices, policies and procedures according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 requirements.  Other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:  Must be able to read and understand English  Must be able to use standard ruler and metric system

    Job Type: Full-time Salary: $19.00 to $20.00 /hour
