JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is responsible for hard chrome plating customer parts. Will review customer requirements, inspect incoming parts for cosmetic and dimensional requirements, prepare and setup parts to be plated, plate and inspect parts, and complete all required documentation for the job. Works with quality, scheduling, customer service and plant leadership to meet safety, quality, scheduling and cost goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety and Environmental Stewardship
➢ Perform all acts safely and in compliance with company policies and Federal, State, and Local regulations. ➢ Report all safety and environmental incidents to plant leadership in a timely manner.
➢ Maintain clean and orderly work area; assist in maintaining clean and orderly team area; implement 5S practices in work area. ➢ Identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
Quality
➢ Perform all activities in compliance with company quality policy and other plant quality certifications. ➢ Prepare, setup and run parts in accordance with established operating procedure
➢ Report quality measurements to plant leadership on a daily basis.
➢ Identify and implement opportunities for improvement
Scheduling
➢ Complete all assigned tasks within the allocated time; communicate with team leader to discuss problems as they arise; make recommendations to solve the problem.
➢ Report productivity measurements to plant leadership on a daily basis.
➢ Identify and implement opportunities for improvement.

➢ Work independently to meet delivery schedules; seeks help when additional resources are required. ➢ Develop key interdepartmental relationships with operations, quality assurance, sales and customers to effectively expedite orders to satisfy the company’s commitment to 100% customer satisfaction.
➢ Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and complete within required timeline.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of basic mechanical tools

Exposure to acid, nickel, cyanide and chrome plating solution
Equipment Used:
Generators, rectifiers, Pumps, Tooling/fixtures/jigs, filters, temperature controls, assorted meters.
