🌟 Foundations of Education Students Showcase Their Future Classrooms 🌟
Posted Date: 11/21/24 (02:00 PM)
Our Foundations of Education students recently brought their creativity and passion to life with an inspiring educator identity project. As part of the Early Enrollment Program (EEP) through Rhode Island College (RIC), these talented 11th graders designed dioramas reflecting their vision for future classroom spaces and their identity as educators.
The project started with a gallery walk in Room 203, where their imaginative dioramas were displayed for all to admire. Following the gallery walk, each student presented their project, sharing how their designs embodied their values, teaching philosophy, and aspirations as future educators. From vibrant learning corners to personalized teaching tools, each diorama told a unique story of the educator they hope to become. 💡📚
These students are enrolled in RIC’s EEP, which is a standard component of our Education/Childhood Program at Davies. Through this program, they are not only exploring their future careers but also earning college credit, giving them a head start on their journey in higher education. 🎓
Great job Nani Bussey (7), Imaiah Campos-Alves (6), Oceanna Cummins (9), Aniyah Gomes (3), Riri Goncalves (5), Kyari Lopes (not pictured), Haley Mollicone (10), Reign Monteiro (4), Julianna O'Brien (2), Aliana Salisbury (1), Gio Vernancio (8), Savanah Watson (11), and Jasmine Young (not pictured)!
This project highlights the dedication and creativity of our future educators as they envision the impact they will make in their classrooms. We are so proud of their hard work and excited to see them continue to grow as leaders in education!
