From Mrs. Cipolla: We are thrilled to recognize Mary Coyle as our Employee of the Month! Mary consistently goes above and beyond, bringing a blend of professionalism, kindness, and thoughtfulness to everything she does. Her approachability and willingness to help make her a standout team member. Whether it's assisting students with Chromebook repairs or loaners, or fully supporting Christina's IEP students to advocate for themselves when they meet with her regarding their technology in need of service, Mary provides invaluable support with a positive attitude.

Mary has been a tremendous asset to our team, providing essential support with the Skyward Attendance Kiosk, troubleshooting tech issues, and assisting staff and families with Skyward parent-teacher conference bookings. She’s also been instrumental in helping everyone navigate the Google login two-step verification process.

No matter the challenge, Mary is always ready with a solution and a smile to boot. Her dedication and genuine care make her so deserving of this recognition. Thank you, Mary, for everything you do!

From Ms. Coyle: I am pleased to recommend José Rodriguez for Employee of the Month. José has been a dedicated member of the Davies community for 16 years as a 12-month custodian, and his loyalty and reliability have consistently made him an invaluable part of our school.

José knows his work inside and out and takes pride in doing it well. When he was responsible for my former area, it was always spotless and fresh-smelling, a reflection of his commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff alike. He approaches his responsibilities with quiet consistency—never one to complain, always willing to step in and help at a moment’s notice.

Beyond his custodial duties, José is also a team player. He is respectful to those who respect him, and he fosters positive working relationships across our community. He has even made the effort to support staff who are learning Spanish, building bridges and strengthening communication among colleagues.

José exemplifies the qualities we value most at Davies: reliability, pride in his work, respect for others, and a readiness to lend a hand whenever needed. Plus, his "bark" is worse than his bite-seriously, ask him to do his dog impression! For these reasons and more, I strongly recommend him for Employee of the Month.
