🎉 Exciting News! 🎉 Haadiyah Folarin, a 2025 graduate of Davies, has been named a 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholar!

We are thrilled to announce that Haadiyah Omorinsola Abike Folarin of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and a 2025 graduate of William M. Davies, Jr. Technical High School, has been named a 2025 U.S. Presidential Scholar!

Haadiyah, who was a member of the Health Careers program and participated in Running Start, is one of only 161 students nationwide recognized for academic excellence, artistic and technical skill, leadership, citizenship, and contributions to school and community. This prestigious honor places her among the very top graduates of the year—an achievement earned from among 3.9 million students, with only 6,400 qualifying candidates nationwide.

In addition to her recognition, Haadiyah’s most influential teacher—Ms. Cara Mathers of Davies—will also be honored by the U.S. Department of Education for her impact on Haadiyah’s success.
