Built on IBM’s Cloud Range platform, the facility features a massive 24-foot screen, advanced computer workstations, and an isolated network that allows users to engage in lifelike cyber defense scenarios without risk. Students and guests, including state leaders and Governor Dan McKee, got a firsthand look at how the space prepares learners to handle the intensity of real cyber incidents.

The cyber range will be used for training, incident response testing, and collaborative simulations, offering hands-on experience in a high-tech environment that feels straight out of Star Wars.

Davies students left inspired by how this innovation strengthens Rhode Island’s cybersecurity education pipeline and prepares the next generation of defenders against digital threats.
