We are so proud of our 10th-grade Health Careers students who recently applied their skills while engaging with the Lincoln Senior Center community!

On November 6th, the students hosted a Vitals Signs Clinic at the center, providing a fantastic hands-on learning opportunity while fostering connection and community involvement.

What the Students Did:

  • Hands-on Practice: Students took vital sign readings, including blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature, applying the essential techniques they've been learning in class.
  • Building Rapport: The experience wasn't just technical; students engaged in meaningful conversations with the seniors, learning how to build rapport, ask thoughtful questions, and listen actively.
This is what career and technical education is all about: getting valuable, real-world experience and making a positive impact!

Well done to our Health Careers students!
