UPDATED Remote Learning Schedule: 2/26 & 2/27
Posted Date: 02/25/26 (02:51 PM)
Good afternoon! As noted in the prior communication from Mrs. Watkins, we've made a change to the schedule for future remote learning days. It is shared below and will be effective tomorrow and Friday of this week.
| Remote/Virtual Learning Schedule | Time | Duration (min) |
| Asynchronous time | 7:30 – 8:00 | 30 |
| Period 1 | 8:00 – 8:23 | 23 |
| Period 2 | 8:27 – 8:50 | 23 |
| Period 3 | 8:54 – 9:17 | 23 |
| 10 minute screen break | 9:17 – 9:27 | 10 |
| Period 4 | 9:27 – 9:50 | 23 |
| Period 5 | 9:54 – 10:17 | 23 |
| Period 6 | 10:21 – 10:44 | 23 |
| 10 minute screen break | 10:44 – 10:54 | 10 |
| Period 7 | 10:54 – 11:17 | 23 |
| Period 8 | 11:21 – 11:44 | 23 |
| Lunch | 11:48 – 12:10 | 22 |
| Asynchronous time | 12:14 – 2:00 | 106 |
| ↳ Scheduled student appointments | 12:40 – 1:40 | 60 |
| ↳ Additional faculty prep time | 1:40 – 2:00 | 20 |
With respect to the asynchronous time between 7:30 and 8:00am, students should use this time to ready themselves, as well as their space and mind for learning, by:
- ensuring their Chromebook is charged or plugged in
- organizing any materials needed for the day
- putting distractions aside
- logging in and reviewing emails or notices from teachers/peers
Regarding the asynchronous time after lunch, students should use this time to:
- work independently or collaboratively on assignments from earlier in the day, adhering to any teacher instructions
- prepare materials needed for the next school day, such as HW
- meet with teachers by appointment....students must request appointments with a teacher by email prior to 12:30pm; teachers will then confirm appointments by email to take place via a Google Meet link at a designated time between 12:40pm and 1:40pm so there aren't conflicts with other student appointments
We know remote learning days aren’t the same as being together in person, but they allow us to stay on track academically while avoiding extending the school year further into late June. Thank you for your flexibility and partnership, especially in the wake of the recent historic blizzard. Your support helps keep our students learning and moving forward.
