Celebrating Our 2026 RI Civic Leadership Award Recipients

On May 4th, the Rhode Island State House served as the backdrop for a ceremony honoring the state's most dedicated young leaders. Among the honorees were two of our own standout 11th graders, Lianny Rodriguez and Fatmata Gueye.
Secretary of State Gregg Amore presented Lianny and Fatmata with the 2026 Rhode Island Civic Leadership Award. This honor is reserved for students who go above and beyond in their commitment to public service, show genuine leadership among their peers, and maintain a high standard of academic excellence.

Lianny and Fatmata are using their talents and their voices to make a positive impact on the world around them. Please join us in congratulating these two remarkable students on their well-deserved recognition. 

We look forward to seeing the great things they will continue to achieve both here at Davies and in the wider community.
