What is E-Waste? Electronic waste is old or broken electronic and electrical devices. E-waste cannot be thrown into the regular trash or recycling. E-Waste is not biodegradable and can contain toxic chemicals. Improperly disposing of e-waste can lead to chemicals leaking into the soil, water, and air. Exposure to chemicals in e-waste can lead to serious health risks.
