Meet Abigail Grullon Our Davies SkillsUSA Chapter Vice President

Her role: As Vice President, she supports the president in leading the chapter and helps ensure meetings and activities run smoothly. She assists with planning events, coordinating projects, and encouraging member participation. When the president is absent, the vice president steps in to lead meetings and represent the chapter as needed.

Her SkillsUSA Experience: She has participated in SkillsUSA for the past two years and is entering her third year. She has competed twice at the state level in Culinary competitions and is currently pursuing the Customer Service competition.

Abigail: I would definitely recommend participating in SkillsUSA, as the experience goes beyond competition. Meeting new people, gaining hands-on skills, and learning to navigate the workforce help prepare students for future success. While many students may be unsure of their passions or career paths, SkillsUSA encourages leadership and helps guide them toward discovering their interests.
