Ever wondered what it takes to run a massive theatre like the Providence Performing Arts Center? If you want to dive into the arts world—without having to step on stage—the PPAC Teen Ambassador Program for 2026-2027 is looking for you!  

As a Teen Ambassador, you will become an essential arts leader in the community, meet monthly with real theatre professionals, and learn about incredible non-performance careers.

  • Perks: Attend a variety of incredible performances.  

  • Social Media: Level up your skills and learn to become a social influencer.  

  • Network: Make new friends and connect with other creative teens across Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  

  • Give Back: Volunteer at exciting education and community outreach events.  

Who is Eligible?

You can apply if you meet the following criteria:  

  • You will be a 10th, 11th, or 12th grader for the 2026-2027 school year.  

  • You live in Rhode Island OR within a 20-mile radius of PPAC in Massachusetts.  

  • You maintain an unweighted GPA of at least a B (3.0).  

Note: No prior theatre experience? No problem. Students with all backgrounds are encouraged to apply!  

How to Apply:

Gather your materials and email them to gmadeya@ppacri.org by Wednesday, October 7th, 2026 at 3 PM.  

What you need to submit:

  1. A completed application form  

  2. A signed Media Release form  

  3. A completed recommendation form  

  4. A copy of your 2025-2026 end-of-year report card
