Davies Community, mark your calendars for the week of September 21!

PBIS is excited to celebrate Start with Hello Week, a time dedicated to building connections, spreading kindness, and making sure every Patriot feels included and supported.

Join in on the daily theme days, give-back challenges, and lunchroom activities all week long!
A schedule for 'Start with Hello Week' from Sept 21-25, outlining dress-up days and daily challenges for each weekday.

💛 Monday: Colors of Inclusion

  • Dress Theme: Wear yellow or green—the official colors of inclusion!
  • Spread Kindness: Fill out the student compliment Google Form sent to your email this morning to give a classmate a shout-out. Selected compliments will be shared during morning announcements!
  • Give Back: Donate outgrown Davies gear or shop uniforms to Dripp@Davies. Drop off donations in Room 203 with Mr. Hall or in the Library.
  • Daily Hello Challenge: Find someone who has lived outside of Rhode Island and say hello!

💬 Tuesday: Encouragement & Positivity

  • Dress Theme: Wear a T-shirt with an encouraging message.
  • Spread Kindness: Keep the compliments rolling! Submit a note for a classmate using the student compliment form for a chance to have it read on the announcements.
  • Daily Hello Challenge: Find someone who plays a sport or participates in an extracurricular activity and introduce yourself!

💖 Wednesday: Compassion & Community Support

  • Dress Theme: Wear pink to show compassion, kindness, and care for others.
  • Give Back: Send a compliment using the student compliment form, and bring in canned goods or a small bag of rice to support our local food pantry. Drop off donations with Mrs. Mena in the Attendance Office or Mrs. Cipolla in Room 016.
  • Daily Hello Challenge: Say hello to someone who speaks another language!

👔 Thursday: Dress for Success & Gratitude

  • Dress Theme: Dress to impress in business casual attire.
  • Show Appreciation: Use the compliment form to recognize an adult staff member at Davies! You can also donate business casual clothing, outgrown Davies gear, or shop uniforms to Dripp@Davies in Room 203 (Mr. Hall) or the Library.
  • Daily Hello Challenge: Find someone born in the same month as you and say hello!

💛 Friday: Team Davies Event Day!

  • Dress Theme: Wear your Davies colors, Davies merch, or shop gear and show your Patriot Pride! Let’s celebrate what it means to be ONE TEAM!
  • Acts of Kindness: Take time to recognize someone who made a positive impact on your week. Send a compliment, thank a teacher or staff member, or perform an act of kindness.
  • Final Hello Challenge: Say hello to someone you don't know well. Introduce yourself, start a conversation, and help make someone feel included!
