Honoring Loved Ones: Davies Día de los Muertos Comunal Ofrenda

Posted Date: 10/13/26 (07:00 AM)

A colorful flyer invites students to a Día de los Muertos Comunal Ofrenda, featuring marigolds, candles, and sugar skulls on a black background.

Dear Davies Community,

All students and faculty/staff are invited to take part in creating a communal Ofrenda for Día de los Muertos to honor and remember those who hold a special place in our hearts.

To participate, everyone is welcome to bring in a small photograph of a loved one or family pet who has passed away:

  • Please bring a small photo.

  • Write the person’s or pet’s name and their relationship to you (e.g., Abuelita María – Grandmother) so we can keep their memory alive.

  • The communal ofrenda will be set up outside the Spanish classrooms (Rooms 005, 007, and 008).

Your photos and words will become a meaningful part of this special tradition as we celebrate and remember together.

Thank you for being part of this tradition!
