Some big news from Cross Country!

Lillian Jackson runs along a wooded path, accompanied by an inset photo labeled 'Lillian Jackson' and the text 'DAVIES' FIRST GIRLS' STATE QUALIFIER SINCE 2008'.

Girls' Cross Country Captain Lillian Jackson, Automotive Careers Class of 2029, qualified for the Rhode Island Cross Country State Championship with her performance in the Class B Championship Race this past Saturday. She’ll compete this Saturday at Ponagansett High School.

Lillian is the second-fastest girls' cross country runner in Davies history and holds our program's fifth-fastest time ever on Ponagansett's championship course.

She is the first runner on our girls' team to qualify for States since 2008.

Congratulations and good luck to Lillian! We are proud of everything she has brought to our program. Let's go Patriots!
